West Chelan Whippets was founded by Shelby Mowbray in Belgium in 2017. Our first litter was born in the same year to our foundation Whippet IT. CH Sobresalto Yo Mammeta E Tu "Chanel" and NL Ch. Creme Anglaise's Panna Cotta "Bono". Chanel and Bono produced 9 beautiful puppies; 4 males and 5 females. This litter includes the Crufts 2019 Bitch CC, Best of Breed & Hound Group 2 winner GB Ch. SE Ch. IT Ch. West Chelan Quick Look At Me, Posh. Posh was also the 2018 Crufts Best Puppy in Breed. From this litter we also have AUS Ch. West Chelan Quartz Cat "Kitty" who resides in Australia. Where Are We?
Currently we live in Naples, Italy.
We are currently registered with ENCI & FCI. However, we will be permanently relocating to the Pacific Northwest, Washington State in fall 2023. We are excited to begin a new journey showing in AKC and becoming members of The American Whippet Club.

What Are We Up To?
We are expecting puppies this spring, so will spend our last months in Italy
raising them, preparing them for their new families. You can find more information about reserving a puppy by clicking here. We are so excited to welcome these little joys after not having a litter since 2020.
We will be continuing our break for showing until we are settled in the USA. We are very excited to try out AKC shows, adding to our repertoire of countries we will have shown in. Hoping to make up some Champions as we go!
Looking For A Whippet?
As stated above, we are expecting puppies. We are currently accepting applications and inquiries for homes. We are especially interested in placing puppies in the PNW, as we will be living there from Fall 2023.
